About Me

“Healing is an art. It takes time, it takes practice. It takes love.”   Maza Dohta

“The Greatest Wealth is Health.”

Kelley Robie is a practicing Herbalist, certified Iridologist, and Animal Communicator with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from the University of Vermont. She received a diploma in Holistic Iridology from the International Institute of Iridology. She teaches an Eight Month Herbal Apprenticeship program during the spring, summer and fall months, and teaches herbal workshops throughout the community. She is a second-degree Reiki student, and is trained in Bio-Energy Analysis Technique.

Kelley’s passion for animals began when she was very young; as a girl she longed for her own horse. When her parents bought her a horse for her thirteenth birthday, she was overjoyed. She has been studying with her equine teachers ever since, and treasures the spiritual connection she has with her animal friends.

Mission & Vision

Horsetail Herbs has evolved from my desire to help both animals and people. It also brings together my passion for animals and plants.

I strive to provide whatever is needed for the hightest good of each individual. I always look for healthy, holistic solutions to specific health challenges.

In all my work, I have a deep sense of purpose, and gratitude for the abilities I have learned, to help animals and people in their own journey towards greater health. My passion is educating and empowering others to be guardians of thier own health and wellness.

My mission and vision is to use kindness, compassion, connection and intuition with each person and animal I am trying to assist, and in my everyday life. These four principals bring heart to my work, my life, and to each individual I meet. Each person I work with has their own story and experience. I look to provide a safe place for them to be able to open up, and share if they choose to, aiding in their healing experience.

How do appointments for people work ?

The Initial consultation consists of:

  • An Iridology reading to assess your constitution, or genetic makeup as seen through the iris, and then a Muscle Testing assessment to find organs, vitamins and minerals that are in need of immediate support.
  • This appointment can last from 1 1/2 – 2 hours. We will cover family history, current supplements or prescriptons you may be taking, dietary changes needed and make a plan to move forward.
  • Follow up consultations are usually 1 hour and consist of Muscle Testing to see how the new plan is working.

How do appointments for animal companions work?

  • For horses, dogs, cats and other animal companions that I see in person, I may start with an Animal Communication check-in to see how they are feeling, what they may be thinking and if there is anything they want to tell us. I will do energy work if they are receptive, and body work if needed.
  • I then proceed to Muscle Testing to assess their nutritional points to find organs, vitamins or minerals that may be out of balance. We look at diet and any supplements or prescritions that they are taking and come up with a plan to move forward.
  • Animal consultations are usually 1 – 1 1/2 hours.
  • I also offer long distance Animal Communication sessions that are followed up by phone.
